The Oregon Caves National Monument is located in far Southern Oregon in the Siskyou Mountain Range. The Caves offer tours daily from late March through the fall. The tours are guided by a park ranger offering interesting information about the caves and how they were formed. The tours are family focused and welcome guests of all ages; however there is some tight staircases and uphill walking involved. The tour lasts around 90 minutes but well worth the time, the caves are spectacular featuring marble and different formations. The Oregon Caves Chateau is located just outside the cave entrance and is one of the most well-known lodges in Oregon. With its bark siding, the 6 story structure has been welcoming guests since its opening in 1934.
