On Pier 55 in the Historic waterfront town of Seattle you’ll find Argosy Cruises. They offer the 8 ½ mile round trip to Tillicum Village, but getting there is half the fun. Nothing beats the views of Seattle’s downtown sky line from Puget Sound on a sunny day.
Opened since 1962, Tillicum Village shared with others the Indian method of cooking fish, the Northwest style of cooking with cedar stakes on an Alder Fish. “The main aspect of Tillicum Village is to share the First People’s culture with kids who come here to work as well as the quest of those who come here to experience what we have to offer.” (Hewitt)
